Lets get this labor going!?

This is my first pregnancy and I am now 38 & 1 and I have already lost my mucas plug. I have tried everything to get labor going i have walked, done some stretch things, taken a warm bath, danced, also bought a workout ball to bounce one and do stretches. i have done everything my mucas plug came out last monday. I really want my little one to be here and I cry every night because I try everything and nothing works. I don't want to take any medicine or drink the stuff (i can't remember what its called) Is there any advice anyone could give me??

I don't understand all the posts from moms whose babies aren't due yet who are trying everything they can think of to bring on premature labor.

Think of your precious little one the way you do a Thanksgiving turkey - just because you're really ready to eat it you don't pull it out 45 minutes early and serve it up raw!   ;D

But sincerely,  do what's best for your baby even if you're really anticipating looking at him.

You will go into labor when your body is ready. I know you hate that answer but it's the truth. You're putting a lot of stress on your body trying to force labor. Stay active and baby will come when ready! They can't stay in there forever :-)

Sex, sex, sex! No joke!

Or you could ask your doctor to strip your membranes at your next appt.
