Maternity Clothes

I just posted this within another thread, but I'm wondering when everyone else had to move into their maternity clothes.

I'm 13w3d and just started wearing my maternity clothes yesterday -- a month earlier than with my last pregnancy!  It seems like I just started to pop out in the past few days.

BTW, I hate all my maternity clothes from the last pregnancy!

I'll send a message to your inbox.

And, for a continuation on maternity clothes, I found a cute and super soft black velour hoodie with matching pants. So comfortable and cozy that I anticipate wearing it often!

I'm going to have to break down and go for the maternity clothes, too I suppose.  I guess it doesn't make sense to buy a bigger size every other week.

I'll check out Gap.  Glad to hear there is hope!

I'm higher risk due to my age and all my m/cs.  It's pretty standard out here in CA.  I'm not sure if the location makes a difference, but everyone I know over 35 has it done.

That's great on your ultrasound, etc.

I actually rented a doppler and was able to hear the hb at 8w4d.  I use it every day, but just for a second or two.  Once I find the hb, I'm outta there.  It is great peace of mind and just $29 per month from Babybeat.  I also have been feeling movement regulary for at least a week now.  I started feeling it occassionally at like 12 1/2 weeks.  In fact, it's doing aerobics right now.

I find I feel it a lot more sitting down, leaning forward.

Let's keep in touch!

What is your next step?  I have an OB appt. on Tues, then the big amnio on Friday.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in - started in maternity pants about 4-5 weeks ago.  Weirdo that I am - I actually love maternity clothes especially from Gap- they are so much better than they were 15 years ago when I was last pg.  I'm w/KellyM - I'm definitely having a booty pregnancy.  Not a boob one :-(((( - jen (18w2d)

Is the amnio a standard test at your doctor's office, or are you high risk? I just turned 36 and my doctor has not mentioned an amnio at all. I think he only does one if really necessary. My nuchal translucency ultrasound looked good and my blood panel results should be in next week. Praying for good numbers on those. I have a 1 1/2 year old and my blood panel results then were "excellent" according to my nurse, so I'm hoping for great numbers this time around too. We declined the cystic fibrosis test because there is none anywhere in our family lines.

Waiting game for me is anxiously waiting until I can feel the baby move regularly. Until then I change from fine one day to nervous wreck the next. Yesterday, fine. Today, nervous wreck. Yesterday I thought I felt a little "tap, tap" on the lower left of my big belly. Today, nothing noticable yet. I'm such a nervous mama.

Wow, we are close!

Mind if I ask how old you are?  Are you doing any testing?

You may have seen my other post that I have an amnio in one week.  Yikes.  Dreading it and the waiting game.  I'm almost the big 4-0.
