Measuring big

I went to the doctor today and I'm 34+3 days. I'm measuring 39 weeks. I go back in 3 weeks to have an ultrasound to see if either she is big or if I'm retaining a lot of fluid. If she is big, then the doctor said he will induce me. I don't want to be induced but I don't want to deliver a 10 or 11 pound baby either. I've had 3 children and my biggest was 7pounds 12 ounces. Has anyone else measured big but their baby wasn't big? It's scary to know that I'm due 11/11 but she may be here in 3 weeks. I'm not ready lol

My belly is measuring big. I'm hoping it's fluid because I watch what I eat and how much I do eat. No, I don't have gestational diabetes.

What is measuring big? The baby or your belly?  Do you  have gestational diabetes?

I'm average for my height and weight. I've gained around 25 pounds so far. Thank you for your help :). I guess now we play the waiting game lol

If you are obese, there can be inaccuracy in measuring your belly to determine fetal size. Ultrasound is the way to go for estimated fetal weight with maternal obesity.

Every ultrasound I've had so far says the same date. I hope everything is ok. The doctor didn't seem too worried. I go back in 2 weeks for cervical check and then the following week for the ultrasound. I've never measured this far ahead. 2 weeks ago I was right on target and now it's like whoa what happened?!

If your fundal height is 5 weeks ahead, you should be scanned as soon as reasonably possible. You have an indication to be scanned....uterine size/date discrepancy. Differentials...GDM, polyhydramnios, macrosomia. Is your due date well established?
