I love it in a warm tortilla with avacado
Mmmmm...I miss queso fresco. Especially on a fresh warm corn tortilla.
My understanding is that you should avoid unpasteurized dairy, and any mold-ripened soft cheese, which includes goat cheese (which I LOVE) unless it's cooked. Listeria is the main concern. But sounds like yours may be pasteurized. You can always cook with it - goat cheese on thin brick oven pizza is one of my staples. :)
Its just too delicious to not eat! Lol
Idk but just like someone told me not to eat Ceviche.....Ive eaten it with all 3 pregnancies lol my OB said its fine especially because I make it myself. I try not to stress on stuff like that, all my babies are healthy. Im sure ur fine. But yes ask ur OB.
I sure hope so I'm going to ask my nutritionist when I meet with her and will definitely read the package..
If you read on the package most of them are actually pasteurized. Whichever queso fresco you eat take a look youd be surprised its probably pasteurized. You're fine eating it.
I eat it all the time. Never heard it was harmful..oopps
It's a soft non pasteurized cheese. It can carry listeria which crosses the placenta and can hurt baby!
