Miscarriage?

I went to the ER for heavy brown bleeding, the did an ultrasound and found the yolk sac, I'm five and a half weeks, but a hemmorage next to it causing my bleeding... They couldn't see a heartbeat yet... Should I be worried? My pregnancy symptoms have stopped, but don't know if it's because I'm so worried...

Exactly the same thing happened to me! I was spotting brown, then pink, and thought for sure i was miscarrying. Went to hospital, ultrasound revealed i had a hematoma, caused by when the baby burrows into the uterine wall, its more or less late implantation bleeding. I was 7+ weeks when this happened and saw the heartbeat, but i also had an u/s at 5 weeks 5 days, and only a gestational sac was seen, nothing else. I know its scary, but hang in there, the hematoma should clear itself up very soon :)

I had the same bleeding at 5.5 weeks and ER only saw a yolk sack.  I ended up delivering a healthy girl at 40 weeks.  Subchorionic hematoma was very stressful and I was bleeding on and off till I was about 16 weeks.  Most hematomas resolve themselves and do not affect the baby.

As for pregnancy symptoms you will not feel much till you are about 8 weeks along.

Congrats on your pregnancy!
