WHat? No responses yet? Well here goes... first baby was born in the hoapital I had a long labor and eventually got an epidural. She was born 2 hours later. Fast forward 10 years. A miracle baby! This time I knew I wanted a home birth. My world had opened up and I was so much more educated about my options as a women! My LO was quite comfortable at 41+weeks. So with the help of my chiopractor and acupuncture we got labor started! It felt like it came on fast! Husband got the birthing pool set up in our living room. Midwife and birthing team called. I was 7 cm when my midwife arrived... labor was intense. I walked around my house... candles lit. People spoke in hushed tones. I was in and out of the pool. Took a shower. Lol... eventually after 11 hours of labor my beautiful son was born! No lie.. when it came down to it, the intensity of labor was the most difficult. Not pushing . He was 9lbs 4 oz. I'm planning another homebirth. I personally loved laboring my home!
