Need Advise :(

Hello Ladies,

I just left the RE office and my final next step is Ivf but he wants me to use donor eggs. I was'nt going to do Ivf we decided that since my left tube was removed and Im not producing that many follicles (1-2)our chances would be slim plus the insurance does not cover the cost so last month we started to look into adoption. Im scared and I dont know if I can deal with the outcome (to go thur the process and spend all that money and not have a baby but if we adopted we could be holding a baby. I dont know what to do. Has anyone use donor eggs?

Thank you but no it was'nt me I just found out yesterday about the donor eggs.

there is a poster that frequents the maternal forum, anniebrook, she has  a baby boy by using donor eggs.  google it under the search on the maternal side or ask her again, someone just asked this a short time ago, was it you?  good luck

I don't know of anyone that has done it yet. There may be some here. I know there is at least one regular poster that is looking into it now. I haven't seen her in a few days.

I do know someone that got pregnant about 6 months ago using donor eggs. She tried everything in the book but was diagnosed with old eggs. She is now very pregnant and having a wonderful pregnancy. I belive they started w/2 eggs but are only having a single baby. It worked the first time for her. Good Luck!
