New to the group

Question

Hello!  I am a 47 year old newlywed.  My husband is 50 and has three children from a previous marriage.  Two are grown but the 15 year old lives with us and is wonderful!!  My husband had the big V a few years ago but has talked about having a reversal so we can try to concieve.  I have an appointment with my GYN on Jan 7th.  I've been encouraged by alot of what I've seen on this site.  We could use any prayers you could spare.  Thanks!

mamawannabe - welcome to the group!!  You're just going to love all of us - ha, ha - seriously, the ladies on here are so supportive and helpful.  Congratulations on your recent marriage!  I too have a 15 year old at home and she's the light of my life - as well as my 7 month old baby.

Although I used donor eggs to get pregnant (was 44 at the time), I wish you much luck & ssbd! - jen

My husband had a vasectomy reversal too..  It was a lenghtly outpatient procedure but we conceived within a month.  Our insurance paid for it.  They said it would only be about 30 pecent chance since it had been more than 8 years since the vasectomy.  but it worked the first month..  Good luck and my prayers will be with you..
