Ask doc for a stronger cream. I had thrush and it only responded to 2% clotrimazole not the 1% you can buy at the pharmacy.
No im not my results came back clear so idk why.
I'd ask your provider to do a culture. You can also ask for teraconazole. It is prescription for yeast infections and the only thing that cures mine during pregnancy. Any chance you are diabetic?
Highly cultured plain yogurt I really wouldn't use anything else for a yeast infection
Can you get that alot while your pregnant a bacterial infection
A yeast infection is caused by the yeast, Candida, and is itching, has a white discharge (liquid or cottage cheese like), and has a slight odor. A bacterial infection has a more foul odor, is caused by a number of different bacteria, has a yellowish to greenish discharge, and must be treated by a prescription from your doc. Yeast infections can be treated w the over the counter products. Either way you have to consult your provider; she may have to do a swab and culture to determine the microbe. Take care.
Hey whats the difference between yeast infection and a bacterial infection
Are you certain it's a yeast infection? If it is a bacterial infection or anything else, Monistat won't clear it. I'd go see the doctor and make sure of what it is.
Monistat is it safe wile pregnant
Ive had it for a month now and what ever I use dosent help
That pill is not sage during pregnancy. It is also not recommended to use anything other than the 7 day treatment. Some will say the 3 day is OK but you risk it coming back later.
You can always use condom for your partner. Durex feather lite does the trick... you can't feel the rubber at the same time it'll keep you safe & your partner. =)
