Non Stress Test

I'm 36 and due Friday with my first however there is zero signs that the baby wants to pay a visit. The Dr. signed me up for a non stress test on Monday. Should I be worried?

It is very normal to do non stress tests if you go past due, regardless of your age.  I started them at 36 weeks since, by age, I'm "high risk."  But even for young, low-risk, starting them near/after the due date is completely normal!  The tests are a non-invasive way for the doctor to assess how well the baby is doing in utero.  If all is well, they may delay inducing labor, whereas if baby is below normal for activity, they may want to induce/intervene sooner.  So it is a way for them to get more info about the baby to make sure all is well.  Nothing to fear!

No. NST's are normal at this point. They just want to make sure they baby isn't having any issues.
With my first I went 5 days passed due and had NSTs weekly from 38 weeks on.
With #2 same thing only they didn't like what they saw the day before the due date and induced labor due to erratic fetal heart beat.  She was and is totally fine and healthy though.
