Nuchal fold 8mm

Good morning I have never really participated in any of these forums but right now I need all the help and prayers I can get. I am 36 yrs old and my baby measures CRL 85mm I was thought to be 13w2d but am measuring 14w2d, I couldn't get a NT scan because my baby is over 84mm which is the cut off apparently, they did some scans and the baby's nuchal fold was 8mm and had fluid around the brain and stomach, I am so scared I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any information for me or have gone through similar situations?

Thank u for ur information, yes not stressing is definitely hard to do buy I will do my best and get an amnio which is 99.9% accurate, I have been reading on these  forums about the wrong diagnosis lots of people get from this test. I will hope for the best.

The fold on the back of babys neck should measure 4mm or under. If not it CAN suggest a chromosome issue such as Downs. However....lots of babies measure wrong on this scan. They will do more tests and measurements to find out for sure. They measure nasal bone length and the distance between the babys eyes and ears. The best thing to do is not to stress over this right now. I know its easier said than done but many times the baby is fine and the nuchal test is wrong. Good luck.
