I'm 9 weeks and really confused on what I can and can't eat..little freaked out cause I just read that salami can be very harmful and I just had some the other day..should I worry?

Oh and raw eggs and rare steak. All meats need to be fully cooked.

You can eat lunch meat as long as it's cooked. You can eat some types of fish in moderation. Stay away from high mercury, sword fish, shark, and bottom dewellers. Listen to your cravings. They will tell you what vitamins you're lacking.

I found the source through American pregnancy.org.
Also anything raw, unpasteurized like a real Caesar salad or mayonnaise made with RAW egg.  I make mayo from scratch but avoid it will pregnant.

Be avoided or raw, undercooked meat.  I'm sure some of this is debatable but these are the things typically advised to avoid.

Don't be anxious but for the future don't eat salami or lunch meats.  It has to do with the bacteria called Listeria.  See this link:
