OPK

Hello Ladies, I don't know if I asked this question before but here it is...Is it normal to get a positive OPK two days in a row? I thought after you get your surge like that, it wouldn't show up again the next day. Just wondering, any input would be nice. Thanks so much!

I just wantaed to thank all of you who responded, I'm so glad I have all of you here. I think I would lose my mind if I couldn't come here with all my questions and venting. I so want this and I get so excited each time I get the smiley face!! Two in a row I just about danced down the hall at the school I work in...LOL...that's where I had to take the opk. Anyway, I love all of you!!! Sending some ssbd to all of you who are trying like me!

I got a smiley face three days in a row.  You can catch the surge on it's way up, as it peaks, and on it's way down.  That's what I read somewhere.  I BD'd the day before the first smiley and the mornings of the first two smileys.  My temps indicated I ovulated 3 days after the first smiley which was 2 days after my last BD.  I got my BFP.  I guess the sperm hung around for a couple of days.

Very normal and very common.  I sometimes had them last 3 days even.  Typically you will O 12-72 hours after your first positive, with the average being about 24 hours (If I am remembering correctly...double check those stats just in case).  What I used to do is start BD'ing the day of the first positive, then every day for 3 days.  Always seemed to work for me.  Good luck my friend!!!!!!  You know I am sending lots of SSBD in your direction!!  XOXO

When I do OPK's I usually have positive ones for 2 days also. Thats why they recommend once u get the surge don't test anymore! But I know that I still test till it goes negative. I also believe there is some women on here who have it positive for 3 days!! Anyways good luck ttc!!! SSBD!
