Does anyone else feel this???

Okay, this is hard to explain, but I want to know if anyone else is feeling this before I ask the doc today.  I am really sore in the creases of my thighs, and between.  Not pressure, and not "inside", it is like I am bruised (actually it feels like I have taken a beating down there).  It is so tender that I have to hold on to something when I put my pants on (or anytime I have to lift my legs), and I find myself holding my breath because of the pain. I have asked some other ladies, and no one remembers feeling this. It started a few weeks ago, and hasn't let up. I have searched my pregnancy books and can't find anything about it.

I feel ridiculous asking actually, but I know that "unusual" symptoms need to be explored.  This pregnancy has been pretty normal, except for being gd (which I seem to be controlling with diet), and I am not overly concerned.  I think it may be my pelvic bones just getting ready for delivery or something.

Thanks everyone.

yeah, I woke up this morning at 4:30, wide a wake.  Once I'm awake, I can't just lay in bed either.  I've been doing that a lot.  I get up and eat a bowl of rasin bran.  Sometimes afterwards I will fall back to sleep on the couch. Sometimes not. I was surprised to see anybody else up, especially from the central time zone.

They didn't give me anyway to check my sugar levels but my diet has been much better since I have been on bed rest and not going to work.  For snacks I eat a lot of raw vegetable, fruit, cottage cheese, rasin bran and old fashion oat meal.  I probably do put more sugar in the oat meal than I should tho.  Some yogurt to but not too much.  I'm also eating a lot more regularly.  At work, I would go long stretches without eating or the only thing I would eat, would be junk.  These days I'm pretty much eating every hour or so.  At least something.  I'm on grazing mode.

About your legs, I would guess it probably is ligaments and joints stretching and/or maybe poor circulation.  You might try soaking in a bath for a while.  Take some of the weight and pressure off.  And besides it just feels great. :)

Thanks, I am planning on asking him this afternoon. Everyone I have asked seems to think it is the bones (and my body not being as young with this pregnancy, HA) You are up early this morning. I get up every day at about 4 or 4:30cst, just can't stay in the bed.

Have you been checking your sugar?  I never got to the dietician, they never called to schedule.  I have found eating several times a day, small amounts keeps mine at good levels.  My fasting numbers keep going up though (can't do anything about that one). I think the doctor will be happy with my numbers over the last 8 or 9 days.  It is really hard to think up snacks to take to work though.  I carry a lunch bag and it is stuffed everyday, haha.  I bet everyone I work with thinks I am a pig!!

Good Morning,

I have had some joint soreness in that area and also some quick sharp pains.  But mine was not consistent.  If your is consistent, I would mention it to our dr for sure.

Good luck at your appt.
