PROGESTERONE 200MG

I was put on progesterone 200mg today due to miscarriage in Feb. I am 5w5d and I wanted to know if anyone was given this in their first trimester and what their experience was like. I am a pessimist and worry about everything. Please give me some words of encouragement.

I also was put on progesterone at about 5 weeks after 2 m/c.  In my case it was orally, 300mg a day.  Its a pretty common thing after m/c, and there is a lot of debate (at least when you read about it on line) as to whether it helps.  But, it seems like it can't do any harm, and there are so many women here who have gone it after m/c and had successful pregnancies.  I already have a prescription in hand, and am to start it again as soon as I get a positive home pregnancy test.  I  hope you have an uneventful healthy pregnancy!! All the best to you!

Hi,

I was put on the progesterone suppositories for both of my pregnancies,  My son is 8 and i am 34plus weeks now.
If they put you on the suppositories i would invest in some panty liners it does tend to get messy.  but it is worth it in the end
Good luck
