I just had a Cerclage done on Tuesday the 1st.
If only I had one done before with my previous pregnacy
but now I know I will be able to have my baby inside
my belly for the next 5 months. For any one out their that
is scared of getting it done don't be its fast anf safe and
best of all you will have a baby at the end.

It gives me hope after reading your story that is so similar to mine that one day once I start to heal I can try one more time to conceive.  Every since the doctor who did my D&C told me about this procedure, I have been pounding myself over and over again, wishing if only my doctor would have done this procedure maybe I will still  have my lil man.  whom I was so looking forward to in Nov.  I am so grateful for sites like this where their are women who don't mine sharing the good or bad stories with others.  My heart is still so very heavy right now, but in the mist of it all I rejoice with you.  I did inbox you with a few questions at your timing regarding my situation.  Best wishes to you... My Dr. did say its safe to have intercourse but when you have a orgasm you can start to dilate. Its hard I know 9 months is a long time but its to be worth the wait!!!!!

I know this is a personal question. Have your doctor cleared you to have intercourse yet? My doc says no sex until after I have the baby.

Hello, I had the Cerclage done at 14 weeks im happy to say ill be 30weeks on Monday!!!!!!!!!!! The Dr. cleared me after 3 weeks on bed rest but I keeped my selt of my feet most of the time. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband that is helping with laundry cleaning EVERYTHING bath rooms all around the house, going to the market and my mother in law cooks for us and takes care of my other two kids 11 and 8 year olds. I just had my baby shower last week and was so happy to see all my family and friends are happy for us after our loss  last year it was a sad thing to loss your pregnacy at any stage I was 19 weeks and they felt my pain thats when you really know whos your friend with all the family and friend support we were able to over come our grive we still remember my baby everyday but I belive in GOD and he is making our dream of our baby boy comming back to us. Just rest ALL you can the anxiety is always going to be there just take it week by week every week is a succes good luck to all of us and thank God for Cerclage.............

My doctor still hasn't cleared me to go back to work. He said I will be off work until I deliver. I'm glad b/c I want to stay off my feet and I need a nap everyday. Lol. Good luck. I don't plan on returning to work after baby anyways.

when i first had the procedure done, i was on bed rest for three weeks, but my doctor cleared me to return to work. however, when i go for my next follow up, i'm going to request that i be put on complete bed rest, because of the anxiety that i'm having.

I had a cerclage may 2011. I wish I had of had it earlier when I miscarried my daughter in 2007. I'm very excited about this pregnancy. Good luck everyone. We find out what we r having on the 20th of this month.

Hi. i had a cerclage placed in after my 9th week because i lost two babies, one at 16 weeks and one at 19 1/2 weeks. I'm still scared and i don;t know what to do in order to get over the anxiety. any tips?
