This is my 5th baby. It's also the first time I've ever had an anterior placenta. This is a girl but all of my other babies have been posterior placenta. She has two big brothers and two big sisters. Luke my midwife has said many times, your placenta can't read chromosomes. Placenta placement has nothing to do with sex of baby.

Anterior placenta, not finding out gender (looking forward to the surprise!). Baby movements are more difficult to feel with the placenta anterior.

Where your placenta lies, has nothing to do with gender. I have a posterior placenta and I'm having a boy. Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy :)

I apparently had a posterior placenta with my pregnancy and had a boy - I felt him move everyday since 15 wks.  This is my second pregnancy and I have an anterior placenta and I don't feel my baby move as much as my first. I'm currently 19 wks and it's a boy!!  How about u?
