Please no harsh judgment

I am a mommy to 2 boys. First delivered vaginal. Second was an emergency c section 12 months ago tomorrow.  I am due with baby 3 in feb. Dr says I am a prime candidate for vbac. I am really scared to do vbac as it it's only been a year and do the thing it is long enough for incision.  I am seriously considering just going with a planned c section.  Now w I th that my Dr and mother want me to get my tubes tied. I am 37 so chances of wanting another are slim to jon. I really don't want that tie that pubes as the side effects am not here so bad . I have horrible cramps and bleeding with a regular menstrual cycle I hate to see what it would be like with tied tubes. So anyway I am researching in have a partial hysterectomy done after a scheduled c section. Is this something the Dr would do? Again i am 37 with 2 boys and girl on the way so would have 3 babies total. Would you do this? Why? Or why not? Thank you.

Don't let anyone pressure you into a permanent birth control if that's not what you truly want. I had a tubal reversal because I wanted more children. I have friends who had a reversal just because they were suffering from side effects of the tubal ligation. I personally didn't have any issues with the tubal but some women do. Please do your research before making an life changing decisions.

You just want to make sure that you do not want any more kids. I kw friends that have their tubes tide and never had any side effects. An option would be for hubby to have a vasectomy.

My sister had her tubes tied a few years ago and said she did not notice any difference from before. She also asked several other ladies who said the same thing. Everybody is different. Talk to your Dr about your options. I will be getting my tubes tied as well. I figure I don't want to take any BC that will make me gain weight or extra hormonal when I know I don't want any more kids.

It is personal choice, but plese ask someone who has an experiance with tube tie to tell what the pain is like and how much it lasts

That is a personal choice.  If its what you want than you should certainly look into it.
