Please please please Help

My friend Trina is due Oct 29 she is 24 weeks and 2 days pregnant anyways she has been smoking weed for 3 weeks now she smoke today but she pick today as her last day smoking will the weed be out her system and baby system when she have baby please help I don't know what to tell her she just came to visit me today

@ rosiev323, did you tell your ob you were smoking pot, or did you lie to them? Last I heard taking any drugs or alcohol is not safe during pregnancy, also if smoking pot is okay, then is drinking alcohol okay? Drugs + alcohol = bad mom, so you going to tell your child, oh I smoke pot with you, because hey I love my drugs over you. Crazy.

I guess that's the problem, unless you have another baby at the exact same time that you didn't smoke with you'll never be able to compare them and see the difference. And unless you look into the future with the child you did smoke with you'll never know the full damage that has been done. What we do know is the risks are so high that it is strongly not recommended to the point where its worth investigating to see if intervention by the government is needed to give that child the best chance in life.

Rosiev323 you should be thankfull for giving birth to healty kids when U put their life in danger wile they were in U. If I give birth to healty kids while taking drugs, does that make drugs under pregnancy ok..or make me thing..well it didnt do any harm with my first so its ok for my second. If U even smoke in the same room as a child almost every day from they were young till their 10 year old. Please go to the doc and she how black their lung has become. Their damage can come when they are older to.

Are you worried about baby's health or friend getting in trouble?? Smoking isnt good for babies. Point-blank-period. Some kids are born okay, but some are born premature, asthmatic, or with cognitive/development issues. Its not worth the risk.

Well I smoked up until I was 7 months with my first son my baby has been completely healthy strong n smart he started walking by 9 months n was running by 11 months
But anyhow yes everything should be fine both my son n I were completely clean when I gave birth 2 months later

That doesn't make any sense y start half way through pregnancy? I don't want to accuse her of lying I mean I don't know her obviously lol just from an outside view didn't make I smoked pot for several years. Quit when I found out I was pregnant which was like 4 1/2 weeks when I was 21. And I can't figure out if you v didn't do it before y start now?

But if that's the case then it will show baby is clean to if they go by 12-15 weeks cause she said she started at 3 weeks ago

most likely, her system will.be clean but the baby's will not, as they test babies first poop which I believe goes all the way back to about 12_15 weeks gestation.
