Possible pregnancy with Essure???

I am driving myself crazy, so I thought I'd see if I could get some feedback from someone--anyone--on my list of weird things going on with my body. I had the Essure procedure done in December 2009 and had it confirmed that it was successful three months later. I have a regular period every month, which gets fairly heavy shortly after it starts and lasts about 5 days. I am 36 with 2 children.

I think my last period started on December 12. I know for sure I had it on December 13, and that wasn't my first day, but I'm not sure when exactly it had started. I had some very minor spotting midway through my cycle (about when I suspect I would be ovulating). We had sex around that time. This past Saturday (January 4) I began having brown discharge. I just notice it when I wipe. It's not heavy enough to need even a pantyliner.

Today is Tuesday, and it's a little heavier now, although I still only notice it when I wipe--it's not enough to even slightly spot a pad. It's still very dark in color, with what looks a little bit like stringy bits of dried clots. I don't know how else to describe it. It's not wet, mucus discharge. It's more dry.

I have been really tired the last several days, but I've also been really busy. I've also been fighting pretty regular, dull headaches. No breast tenderness that I notice. The only other weird thing is that I've been experiencing completely random hiccups for a few months--just one to three times, and then it stops.

Any thoughts at all???

Might be possible that you might be pregnant and have implantation bleeding,  give 2 more weeks and do pregnancy test.
