Post-Ovulation Cramps

Hi All,

I ovulated around last Thurs and since then I've been having these consistent dull cramps. I would usually chalk this up to my period coming, except, they haven't gone away and they are really annoying, and my period is still another 1.5 weeks away.  No sure bb, but haven't been myself lately, but that could be stress.

Any thoughts?  Wasn't really trying to get pregnant this month.

Thanks so much for your response.  Sounds like we are both experiencing/experienced the same.  I'm still cramping a bit, and due for my AF on Thurs, so trying to hold off on testing (will likely fold today:).  I needed IVF for my dd, so wasn't trying to get preg, but if so, this would be a very pleasant surprise.

i'll keep you posted

Same symptoms here. Ovualated on the week of Jan 14 the, had major cramps the following week and consistent until today. I have a fabroid on my uterus, even had a soon done last week to see if the fabroid got larger than last year. Had a pap, urine,  and a full blood work up during my gyn annual visit. I had np idea that I may have been pregnant, I even had a little of spotting last week. I was dur for my period on Jan 31, assuming that the cramps were a major sign it would've been any day now. I took 4 pregnancy tests yesterday and all came out positive. I went to my pcp to take a blood test today but I have to wait for the results. Long story short, my cramps are exactly the same as they would be a few days before my period so I'm not sure if that is what your experiencing. I would take a test.

Probably an ovarian cyst.  Sometimes the ovary doesn't release the fluids that want to drain after the egg pops out, and it causes a cyst that swells and hurts.  If it doesn't resolve with your next period, see your doc.
