I got a body pillow at Target. I snuggle first with my husband for a few minutes but for the rest of my night i use my pillow. it was about $15. Works awesome.
The body pillows are much better. You can usually get them cheaply on amazon or ebay. They are amazing and a lifesaver for me. I have spd and it helps to relieve the pain a little. Also my fiance is abroad so it's nice to have it to cuddle up to!
I bought a pillow at Babies R' Us, it was probably over priced, but I still use it and DD is 2. It is is shaped like a 6, and the loop is held in place by a piece of velcro. After DD was born we shaped it into a tighter 6 form and placed DD in the center to hold her head elevated during naps, as she had reflux. We only did this when she was napping where we could watch her, I wouldn't recommend this if the child will be out of sight and napping.
I got the Preggle Body Pillow as well from Babies R US. It is shaped like 6 and you can move the shape with the Velcro.
I just ordered one from amazon. There are the boppy pillows which I hear are great, but more expensive. I just needed free shipping on what I was already ordering so ordered a wedge. $15. Will arrive Christmas eve.
