Pregnant After An Ablation

For as rare as it is to become pregnant after having an ablation there has been quite a few people that I've read on here that it has happen too.  It must be more common then we think.  Please comment if you are!!

I am 7 weeks pregnant after having an ablation 5 months ago.  Dr. said I couldn't get pregnant and he didn't say I should use birth control so I didn't think twice about it.  I have three teenage children so this was a surprise.  I am thrilled now but SCARED to death.  There is one women I've read on here where she is due to have her baby in 10 days after she had an ablation so it sounds like she made it through her pregnancy, I would feel better after hearing that all went well through the delivery.

Please comment if you are pregnant after having an ablation!  I need some advice.

I had a thermachoice thermal ablation done in July 2008. I am a 36 year old mother of 2. I Got divorced in 2010 from my husband of 16 years. I have 2 children from my previous marriage. My daughter is 15 and my son is 10.
I met my boyfriend the summer after my divorce in 2010. he is 37 and never had children. I explained to him the surgery i had in 2008 and that my chances of having a child and carrying it are very slim.

We found out in January i was pregnant.I was scared to death ..not knowing what would or could happen.

We Just found out in May its a girl and she is healthy and doing well and so am i. Everything is going great. I am now 30 weeks pregnant. I am still considered high risk and have taken all tests necessary to make sure everything is ok with me and baby.
30 weeks into the pregnancy and everything is going great ! =)

3 1/2 years ago I had the Novasure procedure done. After some minimal research, I have found that there have been successful pregnancies after the procedure. One study suggested the possibility of hormone theraphy to rebuild the lining of the Uterus.  For those of you that are currently expecting after the ablation, were you actively trying or was it a "Surprise"?

i TOFET WAS RECENTLY PREGNANT AFTER A ABLATION, I LOST MY BABY AT 22WKS. BUT I HAD NO PROBLEMS IN THE 22 WKS THAT I CARRIED HER AND I DEEPLY FEEL IN MY HEART THAT FROM HAVING THE ABLATION THAT IT CAUSED MY CERVIX TO BECOME WEAK. I HAD NO LABOR SIGNS AND TYPE OF PAIN AND JUST STARTED TO HAVE PRESSURE, 2 HRS LATER I GAVE BIRTH TO MY 22WK TERM BABY. IT WAS THE MOST HEART BREAKING THING I HAVE WENT THREW. SO U MIGHT JUST WANNA ASK ABOUT A CERVICAL CERCLAGE. I HAVE RECENTLY TALKED TO MY OB AND SHE IS TALKING TO A COUPLE OF HER COLLEGUES TO SEE WHAT MY OPTIONS ARE TO TRY TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY. CONGRADULATION AND GOOD LUCK....BABY DUST KEEP MR INFORMED ON HOW THINGS ARE GOING

I had the ablation done March of 2008.  I think I could be pregnant and I'm scared to death.  I have a 16 and a 13 year old and can clearly remember the symptoms of being pregnant.  Took an ept pregnancy test, but results negative.  It may be too soon to show any preganancy hormones.  I have had a light cycle ever since the ablation, but last month I did not have a cycle at all.  One evening at the beauty shop I became so faint and very light headed.  I am scared to death to know that if I am pregnant I could bleed to death.  I really do believe I am pregnant, and I know that it is important to terminate asap.  Also scared of an abortion, but it is clear to me that this would be my only option.

I had an ablation done in 2003 and then on October 28th 2008 I had a period for the first time in 5 years! That was also my 32nd birthday. I have a boyfriend and have not been using birth control. Suddenly I've been really exhausted, nauseated, I also can't stop eating and my boobs are swelling. I'm afraid I may be pregnant! But was told that couldn't be possible. I've had a tubal in 2000 and had a tube removed in 2005 because of an infection. Could I be pregnant??? I'm afraid to find out. My oldest child will be 15 next month!
