Pregnant and scared

Hi, I'm 37 and I recieved 3 positive pregnancy tests over the weekend. I'm excited, shock and scared all at once. I made an appointment with my pcp to get confirmation and referred to an ob/gyn specialist. I've been pregnant at the age 21 but miscarried at 4-5 months. I do have a little abdominal and pelvic discomfort that comes and go. Any suggestions? :-)

If i knew how great it was i would hav had a baby sooner.  First baby (2yrs) unplanned Im expecting my 2nd (8weeks) try to focus on the positive and get lots of sleep if possible

Best wishes

I have one son and have had 4 miscarriages. The only pregnancy I had abdominal pain without bleeding was for my son. With every miscarriage the pain didn't start untill I already had heavy bleeding. It could just be baby digging in and stretching things out. Good luck!

Yea, I figure that! I'm just trying to make sure I stay on track with everything. Is it normal to have the urge to stretch? My body feel exhausted and tired. Thank you ladies for the information and good luck to y'all too.

Hi I am also 37 years old.  And now 28 weeks along having a girl.  18 years ago I lost my son Brandon in a car accident.  I just had  a couple of weeks left  untill the due date. In my early 30's I came to terms with my loss and at 36 years, I finally excepted the fact that I probably wasn't ever gonna have any children either. So yeah this hasn't been very easy.  But I'm greatful

I'm sorry to hear about your son. God works in mysterious ways because I thought that I couldn't have kids after my miscarriage. Now, look we're both expecting and it is very hard but it's a huge blessing. Congrats on your baby girl!! I don't know what I'm having yet, I go for my first ultrasound this week.

You're not alone. I'm also 37. My children are 18 & 12. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins. It was a total shock. I'm scared & excited. My husband doesn't want anymore children & I feel all alone in this.

Hi Congratulations. I understand your fear but everything will be ok. I too suffered 3 miscarriages between the ages of 33 to 35 i'm currently 37 and TTC. Today i'm 4dpo and hoping and praying that this is our month. Even with the fears to come i'm anxiously waiting our BFP.

Congratulations!. I think you should not be overly concerned. Lot of women who become pregnant in their late thirties and early forties have perfectly healthy pregnancies and babies. However you should be aware of the possible risks.Going through this may be helpful:-
