Pregnant at 47???

I just turned 47 with 3 beautiful boys. My oldest in 23!! My first symptom with all of them was larger tender boobs. Mine are out of control right now and crazy sore.  We are pretty careful, and definitely not trying. I know it could be menopause creeping in.
What were of your early symptoms? Also have little tummy pouch that is usually not there. What were of your early symptoms?

My first symptom was always fatigue. Like that "I really am not sure I can drag this body around any longer unless I lay down for a while" kind of fatigue. I mean, we can always get pregnant as long as we aren't through menopause. I think staying pregnant is challenging as the quality of eggs decreases over time. I'm older than you and now through menopause but my doctor grilled me on birth control until then because she said 'don't think you can't get pregnant!". so, it 'could' be. Is your cycle still regular? I know during my time of going through menopause, I was regular but my gosh, my cycles were so heavy. I guess that is not uncommon. The first few days of my period were rough. I did have hormonal changes that included lots of breast tenderness when pregnant AND during the menopause years as hormones were shifting. If your period is at all regular, can you test when you get to the 2.5 week point past when it's due?

My cycle is still pretty regular. yes the first few days are always super heavy and rough.  I’m definitely thinking it’s just my body going though hormonal changes. This is just the first time in years that I’ve actually gotten a little nervous. I think it was just the size and tenderness of my boobs. Will probably test soon. Just to ease my mind.
Yes, tests are pretty cheap and it's worth finding out. Like I said, my doctor made a huge deal about it STILL being possible when I no longer thought it was. There is a menopause forum here I like. You can find it under communities if you search A to Z in the M's.
