Prenatal Vitamins. .

I'm currently 9w+4 days, I'm having a hard time with my prenatal vitamin, they make me so nauseated, my mouth waters like I'm going to be sick, I tried taking them with food, a small snack and with a meal, didn't make a difference. Also I tired to take it before bed, thinking I could just sleep through the neusea but that didn't work out too hot either. I thought about snapping them in half but now I'm discouraged knowing they make me feel so sick!  Any advice mommies to be?

I took mine and afterwards I would nibble on crackers and drink water. But my doctor prescribed my prenatals and gave me medicine for nausea and vomiting. You could ask them to change your prenatals or take some over counter.

Also, you may want to try an effervescent prenatal instead of tablets.  They dissolve in water or juice and don't taste terrible plus the extra b6 is supposed to help with nausea.

Ur doc should offer u some samples so u can see which ones work for u! It's hard in the beginning maybe ask for some Zofran too! It helped me so much!

I did think it may just be first trimester nausea too, I wasn't feeling sick or tired at all for the first 6 weeks or so, but that changed. Now I'm tired, hungry and feeling sick almost all the time. Hopefully it lets up at least a little in my second trimester. Thx for the advice, I'm definitely going to try to figure out what will work for me! :)
