I wish you all the luck sunflowerpower! I'm also 35 & pregnant with my 1st. It will happen, just don't lose hope, but also relax during this process. Getting pregnant isn't as easy as everyone says it is. Sometimes it takes a little while.
I had pregnancy symptoms like this from about 3 weeks 3days with a couple of my ivf pregnancies. Knew I was pregnant. They then failed to continue and I got my period a little late or on time but the blood test was weakly positive to show I had been pregnant for those days. If I hadn't been tested then I would have thought it was pms. Regardless the outcome was the same (period or miscarriage) and you can't know you're actually going to have a baby until much later on. I had Similar early symptoms with this one (from 3w) so was in denial until at least 14 weeks that we would likely be ok and it stuck! I'm 23weeks now and also 35years old. Really good luck and there are preg tests you can use early but they don't tell you if your pregnancy will continue so I recommend waiting as long as you can.
Thanks ladies, you're right, I'll be disappointed... It'd be my first baby and I'm 35... Wish me luck! :)
I started experiencing symptoms at 3 weeks 6 days and thought I was starting my period! I was really disappointed and then 3 days later (with no period) tested positive. Try not to over think it... its just a waiting game.
I was 6 weeks when I got symptoms but every one is different. Go out n get a clear blue digital test and test now and you'll find out ☺ x good luck x
I agree. I thought I was having early pregnancy symptoms a couple of times but then when I actually did get pregnant both times I didn't experience symptoms until I was 8wks.
I agree with brettsgal. Back when my husband & I first started trying, I would react to EVERY little symptom & thought it could pregnancy, but it was just my period. Then I'd be disappointed & upset. It caused me more stress which does effect getting pregnant so I suggest just relaxing & don't read too much into anything. I didn't do a home pregnancy test until I was 3 days late. I did experience mild cramping a couple days before testing which I assumed was my period, but it actually was implantation!
I wish you all the best all the best in your jounrny to motherhood!
All of these things could be PMS. I know it's going to be hard, but you might try to wait until you're actually late for your period and then take a home pregnancy test. Good luck!
