Question about vitamens/supplements

Hi everyone,

Probably another dumb question, and I think I am being a tad bit paranoid now, but here goes....I am already on Iron therapy as well as prenatel vitamens (standard w/folic acid etc.)  I am trying to do everything possible to ensure my body is as healthy as it can possibly before ttc again.  In scrutinizing my diet, I definately recognize I am not getting enough calcium, so wanted to start taking those as well.  Does anyone know if any of these supplements can impact 1. my ability to conceive and 2. have a negative impact on a fetus once I do conceive again (I am so scared of another miscarriage.

I will ask my Dr. at next appointment, but was curious if anyone knew.

Thanks a bunch as always.

Why not add more calcium-rich food to your diet. It's better than the vitamins and you can't "overdose" on the real thing :-)

Thanks Evie, I think thats really great advice.  I will wait until I see him next week.  I think I am "overthinking" they reasons I keep miscarrying.  I can't seem to accept that its just one of those things.

becareful you do not want to mess up your system with improper amounts of vitamins. I would think that the prenatal vitamins contain the right amount of calcium that you need. i am not preg right now but my doctor prescribed me some that contain quite a bit.
