Questions from Strangers

I am 25 weeks. I work in retail as a supervisor. Since I am showing more now, I have more people asking me questions like how far along I am, what's the sex of my baby, is it my first child, etc. At times I think it's inappropriate to ask so many personal questions. Am I wrong?

I totally get being a bit annoyed by perfect strangers. They think that because you're pregnant, all personal space & personal privacy is off the table. It IS weird! BUT most people are just genuinely interested & happy. So I try not to let it bother me. To most people, there really is just something beautiful & intriguing woman in all her pregnant glory!

I will accept those questions any time when people ask, some how people think it is okay to touch your belly without your permission. I want to punch them in the face.

I don't think asking you how long you are, if you know the baby sex, etc is inappropriate and there are far more personnal questions than that. I think it is just kind people asking how you are and feeling happy for you. Would you prefer people looking at your belly with disrespectfull and disapproving eyes?

Relax, people are kind and want to show their interest to you. I'm happy to leave in a world where people still care and show interests for other rather than just looking at their own belly

Hi, I think is normal depending  what ppl ask those questions, maybe they appreciate you or also maybe they are having the same situation on the family and that person is far away and can not do the same questions to her relative.
