Small Gestational Age

This is my first pregnancy and I went to the doctor yesterday for my 31 week check-up.  My baby boys heartbeat was fine, the doc said everything was normal but stated that he wanted to do a sonogram in 3 weeks because my baby was small for his gestational age. I weighed about 110 when I got pregnant, I now weigh 150. I do not smoke or drink. is there something I can do to make him bugger? ir am I worrying for no reason? I figured if it was serious, the doc would've done a sonogram yesterday..please help!

If the dr measured your fungal height and used that to judge your babies size that is not an accurate way to tell. I wouldn't worry.  I would wait till the ultrasound for more details and even that can be off by as much as a pound in late pregnancy. Good luck.
