I was induced with my fifth child because she was three and a half weeks past due date. First two rounds didn't work. Third own did. I had much more intense pain with the induction. I ended up with and epidural and I really didn't want one.
However everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.
Normally there is much more pain with induction. The contractions are harder and closer together. They have pain meds though.
I was induced and it was quite the opposite experience I was in more pain with the induction because its not natural your body is forced into something and the whole NICU was in there
I've had both and there wasn't much difference other than the room being less hectic when I was induced. There was a plan and everybody knew what was happening and they were prepared for it. When I went into labor on my own they had to run around looking for a Dr, a bed, throwing a gown at me, didn't get an epidural cuz he couldn't get there in time. Other than that, I didn't see a big difference.
