I'm on baby number three. I am 30 days away from my c-section. I've never experienced water breaking and never even had contractions with my 2nd daughter. I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions often over the past month or so, but tonight I had what I'm sure was a regular, REAL contraction. But it only happened once. I'm also noticing small changes in my body this past week or so (don't want to give TMI lol). I was wondering what some of you ladies experienced before going into labor (other than water breaking). What were some signs that your little bundles were on the way? I don't think my little girl is going to wait until her due date...

With my first, my water didn't break until an hour before I was about to start pushing. This was about 12 hours after labor started. How I knew my baby was on it way was:

1. I Felt my baby descending down toward my hips. Feels like pressure on hip bone and lower back pain.

2. I started to get BH contractions on an off. They didn't last long. sometimes it would only contract once or twice

3. My mucus plug came out about a week or two before I went into labor

4. A week before labor, I work up with false labor. Contractions every couple of minutes for about 2 hours until they faded away completely.

You're getting close. Just pay attention to your body. It might help to write down what you are feeling. It might help you spot a pattern or some kind of progression. Good luck!
