Skin infection

Hii Ladies,I recently got skin infection on my hips(butox) and Dr. Suggested me antibiotic for 10 days.The name is CEPHALEXIN 500 mg twice a day.Is this safe?? ..I am really worried.I am in pain these days.Not able to sit,stand or sleep.Plz help!!!

Cephalexin is pregnancy category b, (on a scale of a, b, c, d, and x). A And b are safe to use in pregnancy,  never x. I am a pharmacist btw.

If your doctor prescribed it I'm sure the benefits outweigh the risks. But you should contact him considering your having these other problems. Good luck hun hope you feel better soon.
