If you want the details: pregnancy (Gestation) is 266 days or 38 weeks on average for humans. But the doctor doesn't know for sure when you conceived. Many women will ovulate and conceive around 14 days after the first day of their period. So doc adds 14 days to 266 and counts 280 days or 40 weeks after your lmp to get your due date. But many countries do ultrasounds at around 8 to 10 weeks after your lmp to better estimate your actual date of conception and give a due date. Of course most babies don't cooperate with this anyway. Lol. So best wishes and hope all goes well.
So the pregnancy 'starts' on 7.23 according to the doctor.
You conceived 2 weeks after your lmp. Regardless your Dr will be able to find out good luck!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it
Your baby is about 4 weeks old but doctors just calculate due date as 40 weeks from LMP because not all women know when they conceived. Hope that makes sense.
