13 weeks and bleeding!

13 weeks and woke up this morning with heavy bleeding. Went to the hospital and turns out I have a hemorrhage on the bottom of my placenta. Baby was fine and heartbeat was normal but now I'm at risk for a misscarriage. So scared praying I dont lose my princess. Any mommies on here experienced the same thing and hopefully have positive outcomes?!

I started bleeding this week, 10 weeks. Been to hospital twice, 2 scans, all is fine and no one knows why I am bleeding. Best advice I have been given, rest, stay calm, and don't worry about anything except yourself. I had 2 strangers take me to the hospital while on a work trip, I learned I have to trust people and ask for help. The doctors say all is fine, and my little one is moving and heartbeating. Now for me, I am learning the art of staying calm and relaxing. :)

I had bleeding at 12 weeks n they saw 5 cm blood clot around the placenta. It's so soon, to actually distinguish what it is. The placenta is small too. I woke up with blood up my back, pretty scary since I don't bleed reg like that. But, just rest also, alot of bleeding seems to occur in weeks 4, 8, 10, 14, 16. I'm now 22 5 days pregnat.

What this is calling is SCH subchorionic hematoma  - and is not all that uncommon. I have one currently that is not bleeding out. Sometimes they bleed, other times they do not. The body can absorb them but not always. It can slightly increase your chance for a miscarriage but many women have this and go on to have happy healthy pregnancy and babies.  Nothing you can do will change it, there is nothing you did to cause it and there is no way to prevent it. Its an implantation bleed, so think of it as a bruise where the egg originally tried to implant into the uterus. My doc says no big deal, just no sex.

I know your fear, just don't stress, continue to take care of you :)
