Spotting

On April 8-9 if i'm not mistaken, we had our intercourse with my husband which we ddo forgot to use or way of control (Withdrawal), the following days we have not into intercourse since i am at work. I try a pregnancy test one day after the delay of my expected menstruation, result was negative. I try it the second time on May 1, it was positive. now we had our intercourse again on the 10th of MAy w/out using control anymore with the knowledge that i am pregnant, i was worried the following afternoon, i had spotting pinkish but a little only. following that, i consulted an ob-gyne in my working place not my original ob-gyne back at home, i've been into Transviginal Ultrasound with result positive but no embryo and cardiac activity. her findings it might that my ovulation was delayed. she prescribed me vitamins and progesterone tabs for two weeks to stop my spotting. one day, i forgot to take that tablet but i the spotting returned and it t increase the flow. to my worry, i really stop taking the tab for two days now from reading also that progesterone tabs are not advisable during pregnancy.    WHAT SHOULD I DO? i am confused i am whether to take the tabs or not?

Hi! I already had my second TVS ultrasound..sadly,there was no yolk sac anymore...i had seen it through my original OB. Fortunately, she thoroughly explained to me that it was not the fault of me either to my husband...i was just sad, but she explained it was good then since as she suspected the baby is having chromosomal problems...she explained to me that if ever the baby was sustained it would be affected its growth and probably, it will encounter abnormalities and problems. as she said, the timing maybe..the development maybe is not comfortable with life. I asked also if it would affect my future conception..she said it will not, it doesn't mean that complications will carry out to future conceptions. on the other side, I'm glad i joined this community. i will update you guys on my future plans for conception. Thank you and God bless! pls. Invite me as your friend

I would suggest that you make an appointment with your regular doctor for a follow-up and in the meantime, use the drugs that the doctor prescribed you.

One cause of a miscarriage is low progesterone levels which is likely the reason the doctor prescribed those to you.

You definitely need to follow-up with your own doctor.
