Strange results from recent bloodwork,,, bummed

Well my FSH last Oct was 10... now I Just talked to the nurse at my RE's office- I had my day 3 blood work redone last week and just got the results- this is odd and she thinks my ovarian cysts have thrown off my nbrs and are interferring with stuff.  My FSH is 1.6- yes 1.6. That doesnt sound right, unless there was a mistake at the lab. My AMH is .16.. that is low. She said after I get my laproscropy done we need to go to injectables. FSH and AMH usually go hand in hand, and the nurse commented that my last FSH of 10 isnt really congruent with my very low AMH. SO I am bummed and I am wondering how accurate these results are with my cysts. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks

Did they test your Estradiol?  Estradiol can suppress fsh, so that could be why you fsh was so low.   From what I understand cysts sometime increase Estradiol.  I currently have a cyst, but my Estradiol came back under 50 with was good.

I have a high fsh, between 18-20, but one cycle it was 5 and my Estradiol was 80 which meant it was suppressing my fsh.

Hope you get some answers!

Wow.  I honestly don't know if cysts can interfer with FSH, but would sure be interested in finding out if these are true results.  Even 10 is just fine, but 1.6?  I have never heard that before...which doesn't mean anything of course.  I honestly don't know, but will be following this post for sure.  Interesting.
