I had the same issue with my second son. I was put on bed rest for my entire pregnancy.  At 40 weeks and 2 days I delivered a healthy 8lb baby boy. He will be 9 years old next week. Take it easy and congratulations on your pregnancy :)

Did they tell you how big it was? I had a sch at 7 weeks covered 30% of baby sac, after bleeding and clotting was gone at 8 weeks sch got bigger, said threatened miscarriage but.... on my 20 week scan it's practically gone. From what I've read majority of women it gets re absorbed into the body. Just take it easy! I am now 22 weeks and things seem great!

I was diagnosed at 8 weeks with my hemorrhage.  Im now 19 weeks and still have it.  I go Monday to see if its heeled at all.  Its scary I know but baby is ok and growing fine.  No exercising or heavy lifting but its better to be safe than sorry.  Good luck!

I had the same situation happen to me. I went to the ER for spotting. I was only 5 weeks. They told me I had a sch and "take it easy". Went to dr a week later and they did another ultrasound and it was gone. Dr still advised me no sex, heavy lifting, and to rest until my next appt. went back at 10 weeks and they didn't do ultrasound but baby's heart sounded great! Right on track and she gave me the ok to resume normal activity. I'm 13 weeks now. Have faith and try not to stress. Congrats!!

It is very normal. Lots of my patients get one early on in pregnancy. Usally accures as the placenta implantation acures and the fetal pole begins to disengage. I am NOT your midwife but I Usally tell my patients no sex and to take it easy. No heavy lifting rest and give it time to reabsorb. Then I reevaluate them in 7 days.

I went thru that at nine weeks I was bleeding  off and on for a week when I went to the er. That's when they told me I had sch. When I went to my dr they said to rest and no sex for a week. The bleeding stopped and I will be 170weeks friday.so keep faith and it will be fine just take it easy. No lifting
