TGIF: - What are you doing this weekend??

Every year we have an Indian Mound Festival and this year another niece is going to try out for princess so my daughter and I are hopefully going to make her a little Indian dress! Then we are going to decorate my car and get it ready for the parade! Should be lots of fun!

What are your plans for the weekend?

We went to the zoo today for a picnic that my work had.  It was Jillian's first time at the zoo and she slept thru most of it!  If I had known she would nap so well just by taking her to the zoo I would have tried that a long time ago!

Tomorrow we watch football!  Jillian is going to be a Buc's fan with mommy tomorrow!

We just moved from Regina, Saskatchewan to Calgary, Alberta, (yesterday) so for us its unpacking and all the other fun jobs that come with a move.  I hate moving!!!  I had to miss the Reba McIntyre concert for this move (yes, I am bitter...lol).  But we have a lot of friends here, this is the city we met and got married in, so we have a lot of good memories here.  Once we're settled, it will be a good move for us. For the last few months DH has been working here, and going back and forth mostly on weekends.  The living apart was difficult.  On top of the move, its O time for me and I am so tired, its actually the last thing I want to be thinking about, but seeings how I will be insanely busy the next 2 weeks, at least I won't obsess as much as usual!  I am going to look for a part time job here or something to keep me busy.  Have a great weekend everyone!!

I wish I was doing something fun, but I'm too huge and miserable to do much of anything at this point! Ha!  I'm closing in on 36 weeks... woo!  I figured the most exciting thing I can muster up is waddling through Target so I can get some granny underware and night gowns for the hospital stay.  I probably should clean my house too, in case baby Cory decides to make an early appearance and the in laws have to rush down.

Wow! Kenny Chesney? I would have loved that too! At least there is not Ohio Michigan competetion in your house, lol. Watching the big game at home is what we do because we could never agree on which side of the field to sit on anyway, lol.

popeyesgirl - The only reason I went to the game was because DH is a big OSU fan and he had free tickets! I think they are a good team, they just suck at the moment! I am from Athens/ Dh from Port Clinton but lived in Columbus for 8 years.. so the OSU/OU game was really funny! I thought for sure we (OU) had them! RATS!! ah well! I just don't get football.. now baseball.. I am ALL for!! Went to 2 Indians games last year and had the time of my life!! One night Kenny Chesney was doing a concert near by and stopped in for a few minutes.. now that was fun..... hehe

We are not going to do much of anything exciting this weekend. There is a festival going on in town this weekend but we (hopefully) will be working on the house this weekend to get the bedroom closer to completion. Since my SO's work injury everything went on stop (not just hold) and therefore trying to get things completed with him only having full use of one hand takes sooo much longer now. So, I get quite excited with even the smallest amount of accomplishment. We are down to the hard stuff now, wood trim (woodworking takes two  hands) around the window and completion of the dresser. It can be frustrating at times but I keep that contained pretty well even if he doesn't think so. He has no idea what I really feel being 38 weeks tomorrow and hes never been through  this before. When you get this close you want everything READY yesterday.

Pcarsey~ you are hilarious! running around in tights..never thought of it like that but I got a visual and laughed. I personally am a Wolverine fan and so is my son. My SO is a OSU fan regardless and is based mostly on living in Ohio. Big deal, lol. I like the controversy which makes the whole rivalry so much fun.

Sandi- I've been to an OSU game, it sucked..lol I was newly pregnant and it was blazing hot and we were so far in the bleechers that the higher we went, the  less I could breathe..lol And....Unless you know everything about football (and I don't) you honestly don't know what is going on. It just looks like a bunch of guys running around in tights...lol.. which might not be so bad if you like that kind of thing..lol I did like hearing the band warm up though before the game!

Lucy- I absolutely love flea markets, farmers markets, and festivals!!!! I hope you have fun! Especially showing off them two precious babies!!
