THE LOVE OF MY LIFE.
A little being full of heavenly light has touched my life, and she's finally in my arms!!!!!! It has been such a 'voyage', I remember sitting in a corner, rocking my self trying to erase all those many tears in my face.... and trying to numb myself from the extreme sadness I was feeling from not being with her.... I just knew it was a little angel that flew off my hands and my heart....
My heart knew what I was missing... but if I'd have known.... If i would have had a clue that what i was really missing were those little almond shapped eyes staring at me, or that little strawberry shaped lips smiling shy when her chubby cheeks were tickled... or the smell and sweetness of her blueish black hair right against my chest...
I would have just killed myself.
I am NOT kidding.
Madisson Delle Sentz has arrived, not only to our home ladies, but to our souls... to bring the light of our creator... and boy! has she done so!!!!!!
I got to the hospital full of energy, full of hapiness... full of fear.. yes, just a little... but.... well, a LOT!... but very hopeful and with my heart opened wide ready to receive my little pea.
Got an epidural and I thought i wasn't gonna make it... it numbed me all the way to my fingers! i had no feeling! no control... i was shaking so horribly in that operating room, yet cracking up jokes and making nurses and doctors laugh... even when i was in so much anxiety...
As soon as my 'astronaut' came in the operating room (dh) the smell of burnt burritos was obvious.... so, the anesthesiologist asked 'so how are you feeling' i said: 'pretty good! but i still fear im gonna feel that big ole slicer'... he goes 'oh.... they already started'....
Holy MOTHER of the shakes!!! i was shaking, passing out... and they had to give me something thru the IV to keep me up.... they kept moving me, poking me... it was like a roller coaster ride!!! then, the dreaded push in the upper belly.... couple times....
..... and next thing i know, i hear the MOST HEAVENLY SOUND i have ever heard in my entire life. The cries of a little innocent angel... MY ANGEL!... the little being that chose 'ole me' to be her mother!!!!!! am i good enough?? =O it's just me!! how can i give birth to such perfect little child, to such tender being.... to such blessing... what did i do to deserve so much????
(certainly wasn't my behavior... was it??) ;)
I started sobbing so bad, crying so loud.... the doctors told me to calm down in order to sew me back up.... the nurses were concerned about me handling well anesthetia.... and dh had this face... i'll never forget...
I just saw a little angel full of rolls all over her arms and legs....being put in a crib with a lamp thing...
there she was....

It is so surreal.... IT ALL IS SOOOOO WORTH IT DAMMIT!!!!! I'd do it all over again!!!!!

Oh yeah! i forgot!!!.... c-sections are COOL!!!! lol... done in less than an hour, you get to see and hold baby right away and might not be a breeze but it's certainly lot easier than hours of pushing a melon down your bottom!!! (standing ovation to natural deliverers! you guys rock! im such a chicken....)

Okay my third dd was that size exact, so I know damn well she has some real cute chubby cheeks.
well, she was 8lbs 2oz. and 21 in long!.... now she's up to almost 9 lbs. and 22 1/2 in!
I had lost 22 lbs so far! yay! but this tummy is still sticking out... =/ oh well.... =)

Hey girls!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Just reading all my sister's posts made me sob!!! lol... I am so emotional! and just realizing how fortunate I am not only for becoming a mother, but to have such a WONDERFUL support group of loving women... is just AWESOME!!!! =)))))
Well, i also want to apologize for being MIA!!!! I can't help it girls!!! being with little one 24/7 is a must (as you mommies know!) and whenever she naps... im right behind her! i don't get more than 3 hrs of shuteye at a time, and sometimes i stay up almost all night making sure she's fed, changed and fine!...
Thank you girls! for all the thoughts and wishes!!! it's been SUCH an amazing thing to become a mother of this little angel! I gotta say she's so special!, she's so sensitive to environment, just like she was when she was in my tummy...
Nothing else wakes me up so fast like one of her sighs, or a cute cooing... or a loud 'whaaaa!!!!' (means 'mom! what the hell!!! im hungry alright?!?! get that breastorant going pronto!)
Heheheh, I forgot to mention that for some reason I 'just knew' a c-section was the right thing to do.... when they cut me open and pulled her out, i heard the doctor say 'uh oh... meconium'...
Yep, she couldn't wait for the toilet! lol... she was covered on that thing... it couldn't wait!!!! I am so glad i took this step.... so girls! advise: if something feels like 'ther right thing to do' GOOO for it!!! sometimes that 6th sense is the difference between a mom and a dad.... ;)

Congratulations V... I haven't been on in a while but just want you to know that my little one came a few days earlier, my angel was originally due May 4, 2008 but she decided to make her appearance on April 30th at 3:07 PM - i had my wkly appt that monday the 27th which was my 39wk 1 day of preg.- I was dialated 1.5 cm, waterbag still intact; tuesday early morning I had my reg 4 am pee break and there it was my mucus plug,told dh about it; he got excited since it meant she would be on her way soon but we didn't think it would be the next day. We went to work on tuesday just as we would,went to bed and then at 2am wednesday I started feelin contractions about every 6/7 mins. that lasted until 6 am- then they went to 5 mins but they were not too bad until 730 am- still about 5 mins but the contraction was more intense,called the dr.- she said to wait another hr, we did and then we headed out to the hospital, we got there about 10:30 am, was cked and found out I was at 5 cm.,a few hours later, the dr. cked around 2:30 I was around 7/8 cm and baby girl decided she waited long enough and appeared at 3:07 PM.. My baby girl Jadian was here,I was so excited so was dh. it is truly the best day of my life to see her and to hold her. So I just wanted my girls on this forum to know:) Hope all is well with every one else. Take care, baby girl is hungry again, I'm loving this!!! I'll post a photo of her once I figure out how, now to go to the new born forum; I have lots of ?'s, like how due I get her to sleep longer at night:)

Those first cries and the "c shakes" from emotions....seriously some of the best memories I will ever have! Congrats to you! I so wish I could write more but I am SO tired :0). I know how you feel in every word you wrote and couldn't agree more! Congrats so much!!
