TMI, Am I in labor?

Ok, I'm not new to this. I have three children, this will be my fourth however my youngest is three and I don't remember the stages of labor so help!
This morning I lost my mucus plug, or at least I think i did. It was thick and clear. Not my normal discharge. About an hour went by.. and I had sex (my mistake) then about an hour after I had discharge and blood, it looked like spotting with discharge, it wasn't brown but it was pink. Ever since the blood came out, I've been having contractions about every 4 min, but I can't tell the difference between braxton hicks and real contractions. It's been about 4 hours and I'm still contracting. My doctors office is closed and I live two hours away from my doctor. I live in the middle of nowhere and the city is 2 hours away. The local hospital which is 20 min away says to just go to the city because they don't have an NICU. I'm considered high risk because I have lupus. They said if I am in labor they won't transfer me to my hospital where I need to be but they might just transfer my baby. I don't know what to do. What do you think? Am i in labor? Should i... Go to the local hospital and take that risk or just get on the road?

I think you definitly should go to the hospital. The simple fact that you had sex after your mucus plug could of came out is dangerous. I would just go to make sure everything is alright.  Good luck :)

Btw I would go to the local one. Personally me waiting that long or taking that risky drive while pregnant and perhaps going into labor b4 arriving, I couldn't take.
