TTC

Ok, I hope this isn't too long.  I need some of you ovulation/fertility experts to help me out!  I am trying to conceive.  My periods are a little irregular in terms of length in between cycles.  I calculated my cycle lengths for the last 4 months and they are:  Mar 34 days, Apr 33 days, May 26 days and June 32 days.  I just got my period July 2.  I did a clear blue easy digital OPK and it predicted Jul 17 and 18th I reached my LH surge.  I had sex July 17th and July 19th.  That was it.  Do you think my chances are high that I conceived?  I welcome all replys!!

Usually you sould start trying 4-5 days before your predicted ovulation date. The reason is becaus esperms can stay alive in uterus for up to 5 dyas. When you start trying before your ovulation date, the sperm counts in your uterus are higher at the time of ovulation~hence increased chance of pregnancy. That is not to say your chances are not high to conceive. I ttced in July too, I hope we both have good news for each other soon.

I am a little unclear here?  If you had your LH surge on the 17th/18th, that would mean ovulation anytime from the 18th-20th or so.  If it were me, and I am correct in what you are saying, I would have had sex every day from the 17th to the 20th or so.  Thats just me, but it has worked 3 times in the past that way.Alot of people say every 2nd day is best.  As to whether or not you conceived, I wish I could tell you, but pretty much impossible to say.  I do wish you luck though!!  The two week wait now is terrible, I know. I am looking forward to someone inventing a test that can tell you sooner!  Hope you get a positive!!

I dont know your age but my doc told me that the week I think I was ovulating to have sex starting a few days before that every other day.  So if you were predicted the 17 and 19 I would of had sex the 15, 7, 19, 21
