I am glad you stopped. If you were addicted to it, you should tell the Dr. and be willing to accept out patient treatment for the addiction until the baby is born. You still have 4 months to go lady and stopping vs. being able to stay clean are 2 different things. You need support to stay clean! Contact Alcoholics Anonymous in your area and they can refer you to AA and NA meetings in your area. Go ahead and go to some AA meetings and be willing to share with women your story and accept the help of a sponsor. AA/NA is Free! A sponsor can talk you through any triggers in the next 4 months that want to make you use. Good for you to quit but you have to keep clean. Get support
It will remain in baby's system. Especially if you took them for more than 2 weeks. You need to let your OB know even if it leaves both systems because if you were abusing them and taking them for a long period of time we can't diagnose the outcome. No judgement, but please for the sake of your innocent baby tell your Dr. You made the right decision to stop taking them. Best wishes!

You should let your doctor know about consuming hydrocodone during the first three months of pregnancy! You should about the damage that might have caused to the baby instead of if it's going to show in a DS.
Not true they test you an baby further more some doctors test at regular checkups so he may already know. If you don't speak up an its in you or your baby there will be problems with CPS
You should let your doctor know, just in case there are any complications the doctor will know how to handle it.
Only if they suspect any drug use...will they test...but if baby is fine .they wont....If prescribe by doc there should be no problem. ..baby does have withdrawls thou on those meds...suggest stopping any opiate use...
Good for you for stopping mama. I don't know the exact timeline- I think the test goes back to about 20 weeks of pregnancy. My best advice is to let your provider know so they are aware of it and they can be on the look out for any complications with the baby. Good luck!
