Thanking God were safe and sound from the flood

well we were very lucky we didn't lose to much in the flood just minor things....it took out our fence and got most of our stuff in our barns but it was a bout 1" from getting in our house.  Most of our neighbors weren't so lucky.  But most of the leeves around our place broke and we live really close to the river so we ended  up with river and rain water every where....our whole 20 acres lookes like a lake.  I am so thankful the water is going down now but we're still worried about tomorrow when they are opening the flood gates up river from us and that will put alot more water our way.  So please keep all of the families affected in your prayers.  Luckily FEMA is here to help.  They are declairing it a national desaster....

LOL yeah I know how you feel....I was out trying to clean up some stuff yesterday and had to quit to take a nap....I am so uncomfortable.....I'm huge...I actually had a lady ask me last week "Any Day?".  I didn't think I was that big til yesterday DH took a picture of me standing in the water in our yard and I about freaked when I saw the picture....i am huge I'll have to post it Monday  LOL

yeah we plan on keeping them in the same crib til they get big enough to start hitting and scrathing then keep them in different beds so we have a while to get another one....I'm just so glad we didn't lose anything irreplaceable.

Now, I wouldn't really know anything about this since I'm not having twins, but in my old neighborhood we had two sets of twins (both natural) and one set of triplets (aided). All three families had their multiples share a crib for the first however-many-months since that's how they were used to sleeping in the womb....said it quieted down the fussiness incredibly. So maybe you'll only need that one bed for quite some time :0)

Thanks we've got lots to clean up but the water seems to be going down quickly I just pray it doesn't come back up when the river crests tomorrow and they let the flood gates out.....we lost very minimal amounts of things thank God I did lose one of our babies beds.....but I still have one and won't really need another til they get up a little older so by then we will hopefully have some extra money.

I've been worrying about you and am glad you are safe!!! We will say prayers for a safe next few days although I've seen in the news that the floods are so severe!
