Trying to Conceive - ovidrel?

My doctor prescribed me a shot of Ovidrel on CD18. He said my follicle was ready to ovulate Cd16 and was late. So we took shot, and we had intercouse on CD19 and CD20. My period should have happened 14 days after I took the shot. It is now 21 days and I have no AF. Is it possible the Ovidrel delayed my period? or caused some other problem? Or could we have gotten pregnant? I am wondering if there is any other reason the period could be later using Ovidrel. It has been 3 weeks since I took the shot. Thanks for your help in answering.

Hi

I have been trying for a 2 years to be exact, my gynae has put me on clomid but honestly it doesn't really, I have treid the 100mg clomid and 3 x ovidrel injections this month and somehow and experiencing funny feelings in my tummy. It is exactly 13 days, not sure if I can do a home test and also scared to find out that it may be negative. I just joined the forum and found that people have conceive. Is this with one cycle of the ovidrel Like to get more feedback

Compare with other drugs.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone that supports the normal development of an egg in a woman's ovary, and stimulates the release of the egg during ovulation.

I got this information at drugs.com.  There was nothing in this article about HCG delaying your period.  Usually it's progesterone which delays AF.

Did you take a home pregnancy test or had a beta-HCG test at your dr's?  Having the beta-HCG will confirm a pregnancy.  Good luck!
