Tubal Ligation

I heard recently that tubal ligation is reversible with a success rate of over 95%
Can any one agree with this rate (95%) and why?

the success of the reversal depends greatly on the circumstances of the pt. If you have issues with scaring, age factors, etc your success is going to be higher with IVF than reversal.

Ihad mine done 4mths ago

DR gave me 80-90% chance

It depends on how you had them done

I had clipped, and when had the reversal i had 10cm tube left

And thats surpose to be good.

good luck

I doubt the overall rate is 95% sucessful, but there are successes.  Much depends on the type of tubal ligation done.

i do not agree with that success rate....... i had my tubes untied in may 06, i do not recall the exact rate, but mine was a success but we went into it knowing the dr would only do what he could.......... it all also matters on how your tubes were tied/cut/burned or whatever to begin with.. i used dr levin in kentucky if you goodle him he has a great website full of resources you could read up on....... good luck to you.....

i have had 4 pregnancies with 4 m/c/ but it is no fault of him.. my body keeps rejecting them but sooner or later i know we will get the perfect one we desire.. we paid almost 7 grand to have it done.. good luck
