US measuring 2 weeks smaller than LMP
I'm 8 weeks 3 days pregnant and spotting. I started after US one week ago - first brown and has progressed to red, moderate amount. Repeat US today shows HT = 126 and no obvious signs of problems, but the fetus is measuring only 6 weeks 4 days. I have no idea why I'm bleeding or why the measurement is so off. Looking for any info that may relieve my concerns...thanks.

I hope the bleeding has stopped by now. You could be bleeding for any number of reasons, for example, from subchorionic hematoma but your baby will still be safe.
You could be measuring smaller because you ovulated or implanted later than expected.
Please be reassured if your Dr. is saying that all is well with your baby.

It could be that implantation took place later in your cycle. As long as the US is fine and your HCG levels are increasing, I wouldn't worry. Good luck to you!
