There's only a few things that can make your baby gassy, cabbage is one of them. Otherwise, eat healthy, but eat a variety of foods.  What you eat changes your flavor, and in theory, introducing your baby to different flavours from the start should make solid introduction easier, same thing with flavoring their baby foods with garlic, curry and other salt free seasonings, in theory should assist in preventing a picky eater.

You should try to stick with healthy food at least for the first few weeks....I made a major mistake of eating everything I couldn't eat during my pregnancy and when my body decided to let everything go/ digest when it was time to use the bathroom it hurt so bad because I got so constipated I had a push harder than normal and ended up hurting myself and bleeding all the time...and the worth part it was that I couldn't even sit down because it burn so bad.....I'M NOT TRYING TO SCARED YOU JUST TELLING YOU MY EXPERIENCE. ...so I think you should stick with a light healthy diet for the first weeks at least into you get to use the bathroom with no struggle. GOOD LUCK

Maybe stick to the diet you had before giving birth? Are you breastfeeding? Because what I experienced when breastfeeding was a lot of what you eat has an affect on baby. For example, I still stayed away from sugary drinks and food especially fizzy drinks. Once I tried to have coke and baby wouldnt sleep because she has gotten all the caffeine and sugar. Also spicy food like curry if you breastfeed baby after it tends to make them gassy. Im not sure about the science behind it but ive heard a lot of stories from friends and had my own experience
