WHATS GONNA HAPPEN?

IM 40 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS. I WAS TOLD THAT IF BY MONDAY I DON'T HAVE MY BABY I WAS GONNA BE INDUCED INTO LABOOR. BUT IM ONLY 1 CM  DIALATED. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I CONTINUE TO BE THAT ON MY NEXT APPOINMENT?

Your baby may just need a few more days to finish up in there. Both my babies took their full 40 weeks, counting from conception, not LMP. Relax and try to enjoy these last few days before that crazy, sleepless newborn stage begins. Good luck!

I've had two boys. The first I went to 42 weeks before they induced, the second 41 weeks.
I had pitocin both times. They usually start first thing in the morning. It is all very controlled and painless if you get an epidural. Don't worry, it will be fine.

In my case w/dd they put a pill in my cervix and waited a bit. Then they started Pitocin to start the contractions and then they broke my water. My dr. gave me an epidural at only like 1 1/2 cm dialated so don't hesitate to ask for on if you get too uncomfortable. Good luck, don't be scared :)

you poor thing... yea..they will give you some med.. to start the labor.
