We saw two yolk sacs!!!

I am 39 YO. I am 5weeks 5 days pregnant. Few days ago my DH and I found out we are going to have twins. This Thursday we are hoping to hear two strong heart beats. I never was pregnant before , I do not have any children. This miracle happened after 17 years of waiting and ttc. I am extremely happy but of course sometimes worried. I need some advises from all of you ladies (especially who expecting twins). Is it a lot different than singleton pregnancy? I know multiple pregnancies are consider high risk. I want everything to be ok. Are you guys taking additional steps of precautions? What about diet and vitamins? Should I take double of amount? All comments will be appreciated.

Yes, I did IVF . I tried three fresh cycles and all failed and this one was frozen one and it worked. I am so happy. We saw two little heart beats yesterday! It was just amazing. Good luck to you too.

I don't have any advice either but wanted to say congratulations also. Just take prenatals and ask your doc about the rest! You wont really need to eat much more than normal, at least at first. Then it only takes a few hundred calories more with one, I think you'll be fine. Can't wait to hear all about your progress. How exciting!

Wow! CONGRATS!!!  you need to take pre-natals ASAP. They are hard on your stomache so the best I found was GNC that come sin a 3 pack havinh DHA/Calcium/Pre-Natal.  I also take extra Calcium and iron.
Enjoy!!!  Can't wait to see your progression!
